hello darlings!
i hope that you all enjoyed a wonderful holiday yesterday! poppy’s 3rd halloween was perfect in every way. my sweet girl was thrilled to dress up in her handmade rainbow brite costume, and instantly perfected knocking on doors and proclaiming “trick or treat!” we celebrated the day with a little party for poppy and her pals. it was so fun! jill and corbin brought some adorable owl cupcakes, and we all snacked on yummy treats, played outside in the sunny cold, enjoyed “it’s the great pumpkin, charlie brown” on repeat, and crafted up some felt jack o’ lanterns. when it got dark outside, we lit our pumpkins and marched around for a bit of trick-or-treating! it was amazing to see my big girl march right up to each door, without a bit of shyness, and say please & thank you for each treat she was handed. absolutely precious.
i was planning to make a longer post about our halloween adventure, but the weather outside is absolutely glorious, and i’m taking advantage of each and every sunny day we get, before a long and cold washington winter sets in. as such, poppy and i are headed off to the park for some fun in the autumn sun!
i would LOVE to see all your own halloween posts (holidays are my favorite time to read blogs, as the photos are always extra amazing!) care to link up on the comments?
happy halloween, everyone!
cheers!
